We are honoured to have been invited to participate in this event, which will celebrate the life of Enid Pennington, who did so much for the Theatre through the 'Friends of the Theatre' organisation.

About the event
The evening is a celebration of the arts over the last 100 years. 'The St Helens Singers' is one of a number of groups (singers, dancers, entertainers) which have been invited to take part. This event will pay particular tribute to Enid Pennington, who sadly passed away a few months ago. She would have celebrated her 100th birthday this year. Enid was instrumental in raising money to keep the Theatre Royal open, and it is thanks to her tireless dedication that we are able to enjoy the benefits of the theatre today.
